After a few days of doing nothing but writing essays, it was nice to have a break to do something fun. I signed up to do a student cooking show for my university, I've never actually been filmed before (at least not for something that's going on the interent!) so I was very excited/nervous about it. I had to get up very early for shooting (6am!) but I had a lot of sleep so it wasn't too bad, still pretty bad though considering I usually get up in the early afternoon, my body was not happy about the change at all haa. It was quiet sunny after I was done so I did a little thrift shopping after. Here's some pics from my day.
This is what six am looks like on Holloway Road, North London.
This is what six am looks like on my face, not pretty!
Essential reading and snacks for a long day of shooting. I loved the chocolate dippers I found in a nearby shop, all the sticks had cool little sayings on them. I'm getting all my advice from sweets from now on.
The blue pastel jumper I found in a charity shop, only £4! I love the colour because it's so bright, and it matches my nails too.
The gold ring I found at the same shop, something rediculous like £1.50, I love a good bargain =)
Selfie after the shoot, had a fun day, even though I didn't actually get to do any cooking! the crew were running very behind and they only had time to film the first three students cook, but I did give an introduction to the show and they said they were going to keep that footage which is cool. And I got a free Panasonic microwave for taking part, not bad! =D The crew were really nice and even gave us a catered lunch, although the chef was kind of obnoxious and very arrogant, which annoyed me, but I was polite and held my tounge. I'm exhuasted now but I have to get a good amount of work done to justify sitting around all day being filmed and chatting to people!
How was your day? xoxo
